Review of How I am Going

This year I began my journey of implementing the Daily 5/CAFE literacy approach into my classroom. I have been busy setting up various groups and activities. This blog is now going to be a place where I can paste these ideas for an easy reference point.

I have adapted the Daily 5 program to fit within my classroom. I found that there were certain activities I wanted all students to work on and therefore we would still do these as a whole class, however students would work in their individual groups.

This is the timetable that I adapt for each week.
This allows students to work on their grammar focus, comprehension skills, word sorts, writing and reading groups.
